A Nation Broken

And you shall not let any of your descendants pass through the fire to Molech, nor shall you profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.Leviticus 18:21.

The worship of Molech clearly involved ritual child sacrifice (abortion), something God’s people were not to practice. Child sacrifice to Molech was considered profanity against God’s holy name.

A nation that will legalize the murdering of children, babies has lost it’s moral compass. It fosters an environment of death, ungodliness. So why do we act surprised when our young men go out and murder other young people. Because at the root of it all, deep down we know that it’s wrong to murder a child, an innocent life.

It fosters an environment of death, of ungodliness. We see this throughout the fabric of our nation. Entertainment through the glorification of violence. So called games marketed to our children that encourage their sexualization  disrespect to authority, parents and reduce their inhibitions to death and killing. The dehumanization of the individual and human life.

The erosion of law and order. Our society is under a constant state of anti-Christ anti-God indoctrination ideology. All these things and so many more have contributed to the moral decay of our nation.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.….. Psalm 33:12a

Return to the Lord! We need a revival of faith in Jesus Christ. A return to prayer in school, in our public square. The teaching of faith on which our nation was founded, our Judo-Christian western civilization foundation.

Guns are not the issue! America has been from the beginning a nation of gun owners. What has changed is the moral decay that has replaced love of God, family and nation. These are issues of the heart. Murder by a car, knife bat, gun are your bare hands, it’s all a matter of your heart.

Then if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, if they will pray and seek me and stop their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven. I will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Love your neighbor as yourself. This cannot be accomplished by our self will or adding more laws to the books. Only through acceptance of Jesus Christ, his forgiveness, mercy and love.

Then and only then will our culture, nation gain the peace that we all our seeking.
